my honda is running rich and is fouling plugs in minutes and blowing black smoke. how would u check the carb and see if its good? how do u kno if ur float is good along with the main jet? also what else should i check? i put recently put a new piston and rings, cam, rocker arms, a uni air filter (brand new).

 

Get a Clymer manual. I have an 87 TRX250X and the Clymer gives a good breakdown of the carb.
