Default Replace Cam

I took my 87 250X to a guy to have him take the race cam out and put the stock cam back in. He also replaced the heavy valve springs with the stock springs. I had the parts. He charged me $320. This sounds high to me. Is it?

I have always done my own work, I don't know what a labor charge would be for that job but it's not really too hard to do.
The best thing is to learn to work on your quad yourself. Get a repair manual and dive in!

Yep. But I didn't have a valve spring tool or a press to press the bearings onto the cam. So, I figured to buy the tools for one job just wasn't worth it. Now I'm thinking I could have bought those tools, done the job, and gone out on the town and still been way ahead.
