i hane an fmf powercore 4 on my 400ex and i was wondering if you could do anything to the pipe to make it louder

 

Go buy a Big Gun and don't put in the silencer.....lol jk, mine is really friggen loud even on a 250ex though.

 

You don't have the quiet core in do you? That pipe is rated around 96-99db. How loud do you want? Stock is 93db(usually on sports)

 

Less Sound = More Ground!

It is ridiculous to try to make a muffler louder....just to make it louder. I can see it if one is expecting a huge increase in performance, but usually the amount of sound doesn't equal the preformance increase.

I have the PowerCore 4 on my 400, but I run the quiet core and spark arrestor, and it is still louder than I like.

 

I dont have the quiet core in and i just wanted it a little louder im thinking about takeing it off and putting an HMF full system on it and sell the powercore 4

i know but i just really dont like the fmf to much

 

i was trail riding and my dg fell off when the bolt came loose ..and i had to ride straight header going back to camp ..man that was loud as hell ...but i wouldent recomend it ...

 

i heard a 450r with a hmf pro ballance on it and it sound good
