it helps to readjust the pilot skrew after you modify your intake, by takeing off the lid or sometimes filter. locate your pilot jet, outside the bowl nearest the engine. its a small brass skrew. skrew it OUT 1/4 turn at a time until it idols best.

if that doesnt work right off tha bat, remove the pilot jet and clean it. you may have loosened some trash that clogged the pilot when you rejetted. the stock settings for honda are around 2 5/8 OUT.

good luck!

alright ill i try that out thanks a lot. is there an idle screw though because i was twisting a screw on the carb with my fingers and it wasnt really doing anything. its big and is hooked up to a cable i think. its grooved on the screw head so you can adjust it without using any tools. its on the same side as the choke

I would check the cable on that idle screw, which is actually more like a twist ****. The cable connects to the actual idle screw and is supposed to turn it, mine is wore out and basically cant turn the screw in to raise the idle up. It leads to the opposite side of the carb, where you need some needle nose to turn the actual idle screw. Kind of a stupid design in my opinion.
