Same here, my overflow tube drains out some gas on my Ozark 250 and the same thing happens on my friends Mojave 250.

if you dont turn off the fuel the fuel in the carb will drain into the cylinger, if you do this for a long time you get alot of gass in your oil

it can ether spit gas out the carb overflow or the gas cap overflow, or both. TURN OFF THE GAS otherwise you could just drain fuel strait into the cylinder and thats no good

ok, i understand the fuel spitting, but will that only happen if the engine is still running at a 90* angle?

and when you say turn off the gas, do you mean shut down the engine or turn fuel valve to OFF?
