what is the best kind of gear 4 cross country racing

id recomend getting several different sizes ,and paly with them...and like renconranger said 5th gear pinned ......if on the longest straight away you hit the rev limit in 5th juist before time to slow down for the next turn...youll have the max acceleration gears for your machine on that track...caint tell you wich size becouse its going to change from track to track....denis kirk has sproket sizes that the dealer dosnt offer...and sidewinder will custom make sprokets any size you want for a price $$$

I thought he might have meant riding gear, like boots and chest protectors, etc., so I was having a little fun! Maybe not????

yea could be .....recon ranger threw me off lol.......in that case i have no idea ..i juist use a helment sometimes ....
