300ex carb overflowing

Default 300ex carb overflowing

I recently noticed that everytime i would ride my 99 300ex that gas constantly poured out of overflow even when not running. Ive read so many old posts that i need some help. I put a rebulild kit in it and didnt help a bit,just constantly pours. Please help its so frustrating!!!!

Sounds like float not set.

Default 300ex carb overflowing

I tested the float in a container of gas and it floated the entire time i had it in,so when you say not set,what should i do or buy a new one?

Default 300ex carb overflowing

Finally figured out was wrong for all those people with same problem. run a tiny wire through all the passageways in the carb,one of mine was completely stopped up.
