stoopid idea or not?

hey guys i've got two trx300's both with shot rear diffs and one with a blown motor anyhow after a few beers and a chat with my old man we/me have decided that the front diff and A arms could be modified/persuaded to fit the rear of the half decent one thus giving ind rear susp all round. question is does the front diff turn the opposite way to the back one? all the other issues i'm confident to take on coz its just fab work

Is the driveshaft going to line up right????
Another issue...those things have a very old school "open" differential, which sends the power to the wheel that doesn't have traction. So, you are going to be in "turf mode" all the time. Maybe you can weld up the rear diff and that will keep it locked (???).

not sure if the shaft will line up yet gonna have to pull it out from the back shed and have a look see and measure. as it its independant susp the shaft shouldnt matter too much as long as its not at silly angles. the shaft wont have to move like it does on a solid rear axle. probably gonna weld the rear diff as reconranger says coz the fronts do run very open at the best of times. i cantake it that the front does run the opposite way around as this is the case of most 4wd systems. ned to get the tape measure out i think (and aid the design with some more beer!!)
