i think its the CDI too..becasue i was in look out to buy a 250x and mostly all of them said "new CDI box" so that is a very good posibility what it is.

 

yea man got it goin that weekend it was the stater and the pulse generater put a used one in it and cranked right up thing runs like new couldnt believe it

 

i have a 300ex..
i was riding today and i went through a creek and it ran just fine until i cut it off.
Now it will not fire at all, i cleaned my plug and tried to fire it from the boot,
Nothing..
could it just be my coil or something different?
it ran perfect until i hit the creek.
This is my first day riding it, i traded a bayou 220 for it yesterday..
I love it i just dont want to spend a buttload of money if i dont have to

 

hi I actually have a trx250x that just stopped running I cleaned out the carb it was idleing very high (I’m guessing after cleaning the carb it was actually getting all the gas and air it needed) so I hit the kill switch and was going to adjust the idle back down after hitting the kill switch and tuening The idle cable a little it now will not start it also doesn’t have a key as it was a barn find years ago so just a kill switch I saw your comment regarding that and was wondering if you had a solution
