There was a discussion about a month ago regarding the lack of compression release at low RPMs (wouldn't start), Gimpster explained the problem. I've found that if I put the shifter in "D" and rock the machine it will start, hope this continues to work as I don't want to pay for a new cam and/or have to remove the spark plug each time this occurs. Did I just get lucky or is there a mechanical explanation for why this method worked?
