rancher verses foreman ?

Default rancher verses foreman ?

I saw a 98 foreman 400 on the trails with nearly 10,000 miles so In you situation I would go foreman.Wow a polaris guy in honda thread not recomending a polaris but a honda!I surprise even myself sometimes...

Default rancher verses foreman ?

You will never overheat a Foreman, its the only air/oil cooled ATV I know of that has not one but two oil coolers with fan assist. Simpler set up, no water pump,Fan or coolant level to worry about.

The fan on a oil cooler just assist the oil cooler,even if it quit working it will not harm the motor because the oil cooler still circulates the oil for cooling. If the fan on a liquid cooled motor dies its instant boil over and steam time with hopefully a short walk home.

I ride with a 500 Foreman and 420 and when the two are park beside each other you can see where the extra $1000 is.

The 500 has larger racks,frame, wheels ,two back shocks and a 3rd headlight. That has to add to $1000 easily.
