best thing you can do, cuz at the end of the day recon parts where designed for a recon and 300ex parts for the ex. not that it would not work, anything can work if you have time/tools/money. but piece of mind is good to have when your butts on the line ont on the trails

 

I wound up buy a use part to fix it. i put the rear tires up front and a set of swampers out back on 300ex wheels and hubs. the 300ex hubs looked as though i gained about 2" rear width
