Best ATV Money Can Buy
#1
Here is my goal. The clear and obvious concensus is, Honda makes the most reliable atv on the market (though Kaw is pretty close). So, I want to get a used Honda, maybe 2-5 years old and would like your recommendation as to which one I should focus on buying.
I am not looking for an overly fast or exciting ride but rather a utility atv that is sufficiently powered, functional and highly dependable/low maintenance. I am not real familiar with the Honda line but heard about Fourtrax in 300 and 350cc. It does not matter whether the unit is two or four wheel drive.
Which one or two models should i focus on?
Thank you.

Just my two cents -
All things need maintanence, all things break, atv's are more likely to do this. Honda's are great units, but they also need taken care of and will also break down at some point. If it doesn't matter what unit you get and it also doesn't matter if it's a 2x4 or a 4x4. Then go throu your trade'n post and get a Honda that's in good sharp and a good price. To get specs, go to http://www.hondamotorcycle.com/models/index.htm#
then you'll have more info and a better idea on what you want. Good luck

Go with the 300 4x4. Quad is bulletproof. I'm actually cleaning up a 92' 300 for a guy this evening that has never been serviced!!! and starts on the first crank every time.. This is not to say that I will treat my quad this way or believe that anyone one else should either. I'm only saying this to prove a point from reliability veiwpoint.
