This engine is particularly sensitive to flooding. Never ever touch the throtle before or during a hot start. It has a pumper carb, and it will inject raw fuel. If I flood mine, I have to kick it 20 times to clear the carb out.
Also, your decompressor could be messed up????

Get those valves adjusted! The most important one is the first one at 20 hours, just after break-in!!! After that, do it at least twice as often as your owner's manual suggests.
The decompressor releases compression during a start to make the engine turn over more easily. The best time to check it is at a valve adjustment.
