I just picked up the issue of 4-Wheel Action, only because it had a review of this engine package from Duncan Racing. I know Travis Spader uses it, but is it the best setup for me?

The mag says they used all of Duncans accessories-PT pipe and silencer, Pyramid Valve, etc..

I already have a chrome LRD pipe and silencer, Boyesen Rad Valve with spacer, and 39mm Keihin, and a Pro Design cool head.

I would like to get the 265cc kit, but don't want to have to re-sleeve. Does anyone have more info on this matter?

if your talking about the power valve kit, I beleive you have to buy the cylinder, and your looking at 1200. call duncan and ask them, ct also have the power valve kits avalible

Just because Travis Spader won the national championship with the new Duncan power valve cylinder doesn't mean that is the right one for your riding ability. First off, Travis is going to win on anything. The kid can ride the wheels off of a Honda Recon if you would let him. Since you already have an LRD pipe and silencer, plus a cool head I would look into getting an LRD motor kit. Don't get me wrong, the Duncan stuff is first class all the way, but you already have some of the pieces to put a complete LRD motor kit together. Call Arlen at LRD and see what he thinks will work for you. If there is any man in the business that will actually talk to you and explain things to you, it is Arlen. Don't think I'm totally trying to sell you an LRD motor either. I just think you already have the basics, so there is really know need to go out and buy a new pipe and silencer when you already have a good one on your quad right now. But if you decide to go with the Duncan stuff you are not going wrong at all, but what do I know, I run Curtis Sparks engines. Your final decision will probably come down to how much money you have to spend. The more you have, the faster you will go!!!!!!!!!!!!
