hey everyone i am new to this site and i have a question about front shocks for a 1986 trx200sx. i would like to get something that is a little stiffer than stock, but i dont want to break the bacnk with it being a 23 year old bike. i have replaced the rear one with one from a 250ex and i was wondering if anyone knew if the fronts ones from this bike fit on the 200sx also or if there is any other model that would cross over.any help is appreciated.

I don't think you'll find any front shocks stiffer than the 200sx. That bike has a very short travel and that's why the shocks are stiff. So it doesn't bottom out. Maybe your shocks are just worn out?

 

yeah the shocks are for sure worn out, i am looking for something that is a little taller. since i put the one from a 250ex on the back it sits up about 2-3 inches taller than stock, which is nice, but i was trying to find something that would even the front out. the bike actually has a rake to it now and i was just seeing if there was anything that would level it out in the front.
