Best Quad
#11
When I plowed commercially I had an AC500 auto. If it wasn't such a problematic piece of st*t I would still have it. That thing could push some serious snow and was a great ride. Its unreliable performance is why I am a Honda guy now. It had issues every time I went on a long trip with it.
The Foreman that I have now I purchased for my Wife. I was looking for a Rancher, but came across the 450es. The guy I bought it from did some commercial plowing so he purchased it to help with sidewalks. To make this short I bought it from him in November of 2008 and it only had 61miles on it. The plow had never been used. It was also always stored in a heated garage. Looked brand new. Paid $3500 for ATV and PLow
The plow came as a bonus. The only thing I use it for is plowing the back alley. Its a city block long so I don't have to back up much. I can also get away with 2nd gear because its basically plowing an asphalt road. Only takes about 20 min for 6in or less.
I would never recommend anything other than an Auto quad for plowing for long lengths of time. If I was to ever start plowing for money again, I would buy a Rubicon.
