can i really use a crf450r timing chain in my 400ex like i've been hearing? or is this just something someone's saying that's not true, i do not want to mess my quad up down the road, thanx for the help

 

I am in the process of boring my ex out, and replacing things like the cam chain as well.... A guy that builds 400's told me to get that chain... i actually bought it today off of service honda and it was like $31... So as far as i know... it is a lot stronger chain, and it will fit.
