just put in a 128 main with moose filter and drilled lid. im waiting on my fmf system in the mail but when i went to start it, it revd up and stayed up no matter what i adjusted. should the pipe solve this problem?

will check that. yea the full system will be in friday, i just figured id try starting it with the bigger jet and she just revd up high. i thought i had it tight though. hopefully the exhaust solves that. its a full fmf powercore4

did you get the powerbomb header too? you can do a vaccume test on your intake, take u 2 munites.
pull off air filter, turn the kill switch to OFF position. place your hand tight over the intake and hit the starter switch-allow the engine to turn over once or twice so that a vaccume is created in the intake. the vaccume should last for 30ish seconds. if it does not you have a leak.
simple yet effective test. good luck

thanks il give that a try tonight. yes it comes with the powerbomb header but its not the one with a bubble in it next to the head.fmf said a 128-130 with the lid off so im hoping a 128 with the lid just drilled will work.

putting the exhaust on i don't beleive will change this at all, take carb back apart and make sure everything is right, make sure the spring is right, for where the cable pulls the cylinder up and down, sounds like the cylinder is staying up and not coming back down, beleive me, it's not the exhaust, and the jets will help a lil bit but not much without the pipe, good luck man
