bogging trx450
#1
my buddy has a trx450, pipe, airbox and jetted. when he gets into the throttle the bike has a short bogg before it takes off. This is the only issue with the bike. Other than that the bike is quick and great.

Most likely, his jettin isn't quite perfect. This is a pumper carb, so adjusting that may have an effect as well. He needs to first determine if it is getting to much fuel off the bottom or to little.
Read this to get an idea of what effects your carb right off of idle. Pilot jet, throtle valve, maybe try raising and lowering the needle, mabe a different shaped needle, and adjust the pumper delivery both up and down (????). Remember, only do one thing at a time!:

Do you mean when you mash the throttle wide open it bogs? Mine did that too. When I put my pipe on I didn't jet it correctly and it would do that.
