so im looking to upgrade from my ancient megamax muffler to something that looks much newer, and has better performance, but mostly a little QUIETER. im looking at Lexx's slip on for my 2005 400ex. i have a k&N air filter, with hot cam stage 1, opened up air box lid(home made K&N filtered lid). i took the megamax off because i thought it was too loud even with the quiet core it barks. more importantly its an eye sore on my 05 EX. has anyone used, or know someone that uses this pipe? i like it based on the price of it. at some point im going to add an FMF header to it. or if LEXX makes a head pipe in the near future i will go with that. someone on here please tell me what you think of this pipe or other pipes priced competitively to LEXX

ive got the lexx on mine and i like it alot. its not to loud and looks nice. the quality seems great also. you dont really need the headpipe unless you going to a big bore kit. although fmf has the Q4 system with powerbomb for about 300 i believe, which is probaly pretty nice and quiet.
how did you like the cam mod? im having my top end rebuilt now and decided to go with the stage 1 also with a port & polish. Im running a filter with drilled lid, removed choke, and slip on now. cant wait to get it back and see the difference. ive got a 155 main and 42 pilot. what size main are you useing with the cam in it?

im running a 170 main jet which is what my moose jet kit directions told me to run. seems to be running great(to me) there isnt any flat spots doesn't hesitate. where did you find the q4 with the powerbomb header as a system? i know the Q4 is over $300 alone and the powerbomb header is $250+. thats my main reason why im not going with FMF again. its too expensive. the only reason i want to add a head pipe is because they recommend using one with the cam. but i noticed a good increase through mid-top end power with the opened up air box
