450 ES display ?
#1
I have a 2001 450 ES I am working on. The display is intermittant. One time it is on then I hit the starter and it is gone. The next time it comes on when I am cranking the starter but goes off as soon as I stop.
I wiggled every wire and thought I had it but no....
Has anyone had any troubles like this?
I would like to solve this asap as I tis not my machine.
My nephew bought it on my say so and now I can't solve the problem.
Anyone have a pic of the wiring diagram?
Thanks for any help!!

No battery is good.
I have checked the ground and all the plug connections I can find.
I am waiting for a wiring diagram so I can start to trace wires and check for power.
I just thought if anyone had had a similar thing happen they might be able to comment.
Thanks!!

MIne just did this Friday when I was riding in to go hunting. The display is blank and does not light up when the lights are on. It runs fine/shifts fine. Just no display. I did not have much time to investigate, I will tomorrow. I will start with fuses and wires under the display. If that does not work, what next?
It was working fine when I put it away a couple of weeks ago. I did however rinse it off before I put it away, so I don't know if water got in somewhere and corroded something.
Any ideas will be helpful. It is a 2002 Foreman 450 es.
