yep i have one my 300ex. I at first liked it until i went on a poker run in new jersey. It was like 10 miles of whoops. It was so hard to stop going fast, i was slowly giving it more throttle with every bump. I think i might switch it back to thumb throttle. But it makes if alot easier to turn .

Its hard to do wheelies, jumps seemed harder, climbing hills. It all felt like you were for more throtle when you didnt want to. Its not like a dirt bike were you can lean, it just wasnt my cup of tea

You like twist throttles but if your friend cased a jump and broke his wrist it would of broke his wrist with a twist throttle. your more out of control with a twist throttle its better for a dirt bike but for a qaud you cant lean on jumps yor grabing for more throttle. If twist throttles are so good why dont pro qaud riders use them.

426 from what I have seen at the nationals I have gone to two TT events in Danville, VA and also from the mags is that several pros use twist throttles. I would have to say they do seem as about split on the issue as all of us are.

I will admit I have an extensive twist throttle background I havent owned a quad without one and have had several dirtbikes over the last 10 years. So even though I am biased, I do have some experience on the subject.

you are use to them but as far as atvs go, on a bike you can leen to twist the throttle but on a qaud it feels dangerous because your arm is so low and if you get into a wheelie you keep going for throttle
