40 pilote jet

Default 40 pilote jet

Hello awhile back I asked you guys about my 400ex having a hard time starting and you guys said to change the pilote jet so i did that and it works great but now every once in a while it will want to die when i pull in the clutch do i need to adjust the carb now. Please let me know if you have any idieas for me. Thanks

You shouldn't have to adjust the carb when changing a pilot jet. You could have let a little dirt in the carb after doing the jet change. Drain the bowl by taking off the 17mm bolt on the bottom of the carb, check and clean then reinstall and see if that helps.
