Front differential

Default Front differential

I have a 350 06 rancher. I am wanting to make it into a 4x4. I know that it will cost some but i need a project. I can't find a front differential that will fit. What year will fit the model IT is a 350es 2x4. Thanks for all the help to come. Also could yall point out what else i will need

would the 400 rancher diff. be to big. I am new at this stuff. I can find the 05 rancher differential would this one fit

Once, someone did a cost analysis of what it would take to turn a 2wd into a 4wd....and it was more than the price of a whole new quad. I would find a different project!

Sell your Rancher and get a Polaris Sportsman 550 XP. Probably cheaper than converting and worth the effort.

i understand what yall are saying. I know it will cost more. But what size will fit

Probably a 4x4 rancher would work. Im not sure but i would imagine the whole quad size isnt different jsut the bore

Also I think that the 2x4 Rancher has two different diameter tires from from to back. If you go 4x4 you will have to replace either the back or front tires to make all the same diameter or you will suffer binding and bucking from the front end.

I am looking at at a 06 400 at front Pinion differential. WOuld this differential work

i would recomment you to just buy a 4x4 for this..and sell your old 2x2..
