Ok fellow honda folks, I am new to this site but I have a question to ask. I would like opinions on which new model to get. If you ask the salesman of course he is going to try and sale you the most expensive. I would like to know out of the Rancher 4x4, Foreman 400 4x4 or 450 4x4 which would be the best to get. It will be used mostly for remote duck and hog hunting in the swamps with lots of mud and water. I have a TRX300 2wd now and you know it is just not cutting it in these conditions. So if I could get some help from people who have these machines I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

There is no replacement for displacement. Quads are like boats, once you get one, you always want a bigger one. Go with the largest displacement quad you can afford, while still being able to afford dog food. That is the rule.

Go with the Foreman ES! I had one before my Rubicon and it is a great machine! You will not be let down. It has power-o-pleanty and is an awesome mudder!

We have as you can see by my signiture a 3004x4, 400, Rancher and Rubicon. If you can afford it go with the Rubicon by all means. However if you looking for maybe the best all around purpose quad out there the Rancher just might be it. There is no where the Rancher won't go and it will save you some money in the process. As for the 450 ES, 400. They are nice and even have a bit more grunt, but they don't have the ground clearance, nor the ride of the Rancher or Rubicon. These two are also better mudders in my experiences, but that is not always true as others might dispute that. Good luck on your desicion, your on the right track though.
