Front Brake Master Cylinder Question

Front Brake Master Cylinder Question
Does anyone know which direction the piston cups should be facing in a Front Master Cylinder on a 1992 Honda TRX 250x? I recently rebuilt the Master Cylinder but have no pressure when trying to bleed the brakes. Right now the piston cups are positioned with the cupped side leading towards the brake hose, like "(" .
When I remove the brake hose and squeeze the lever i get a very small amount of fluid exiting the master cyliner.
Unfortunately the old master cylinder had already been removed so I had nothing to compare to when installing the new one. I'm using an OEM master cylinder kit.
Thanks!

For anyone that is interested in knowing, the positioning of the piston seals are cupped lip of piston seals facing towards the brake hose as I mentioned in my initial post. Also, in case someone (like me) didn't know, when rebuilding the master cylinder you'll need to manually fill the master cylinder piston chamber with fluid in order to get good suction from the resevoir. A medicine dropper works perfectly. It's a good idea to manually fill the caliper piston champer with fluid as well if you removed the piston.
