Default Honda 1987 TRX 350 will not start

I am not sure what is wrong but when the machine sets for more then three days it will not start until gas is dumped into the carb if it is started daily it will start right up and run good. I have cleaned the carb, installed new plug, confermed fuel pump is working, and drained gas. Still has same problem. Also where can I buy a good quality carb rebuild kit for this machine? Thanks in advance

Do you turn off the fuel when you store the atv?

I will bet your float is out of adjustment.
I would also bet that your slow jet aka pilot jet OR the circut is still partially clogged, Thus the need to pour in fuel to get it to start and develop enough vacume to actually pull enough fuel to keep running.

Pull it back apart. Make shure to clean the pilot REALLY well with Steel wool! 000 grit ( I polish my jets to a perfect finish. inside and out. check it into a drill, twist up a fine point of the wool and slowly slide it into the jet as you spin the jet.) make shure all of the bleed holes along its side are clear of all buildup. You will be shocked to see how mutch crud builkds up along the walls of jets. and only steel wool will remove it.

And for petes sake dont just blow air through it, use some GOOD carb cleaner like Berrymans B-12 (its the absolute BEST on the open market) spray some in gently and let it sit inside the carb for a min or so then blow it out..

Now your mixture screw Definatly polish it with the wool. becarefull not to break off the tip.

Tip. DONOT get B-12 in your eyes. you will be running around blind! trying to find the sink.
LOL I have been useign the stuff for years and know the dangers and still seem to get a good shot of it in my eyes about every 3 carb cleans. IT SUCKS!

I like using Berkebile 2+2 Gumcutter to clean carbs, its about the best stuff ive found around here to clean carbs but yea it will make small cuts sting, fry your eyeballs, and also can ruin some rubber parts like a carb bowl gasket if u spray it on there.
