1985 honda 125m atv need some help
#1
I was recently given a 125M Honda 3 wheeler. It has electric start and a pull start. It would do nothing when I first got it and tried to us electric start. I put a battery charger on it and turned ignition switch to the on position and run switch to run. I made sure gas was on and pulled choke out. When I pressed the start button all I get is a click and nothing else.
A friend said to jump the celenoid while pushing the start button which i did and i get a spark but no start up. All I get is the click. I also just today repaired the pull start that was frozen up so i can at least try to pull it. After many pulls i get nothing..
Any ideas as why it just clicks. Are there any safety features that keep it from going. The green light does say it is in neutral.
Sorry if this all sounds stupid but its the first time i ever messed with a three wheeler.
Will the battery charger overcome the weak or dead battery. Once i disconnect the charger the battery will go completely dead in only a matter of minutes. When charger is hooked up the headlight will work and neutral light will light up.
Any help at all would be great.
Thanks
