I rebuilt the rearend in mine, What exactly is wrong with yours? Does it need a new ring and pinion or just bearings?

I have it tore down and it needs bearings and ring and pinion. The pinion gear has teeth broke off. I'm having a problem getting the pinion gear out of the housing. I can't break the nut loose. How did you get yours off?

put something against the pinion and use air on it then ull need a special tool to remove retainer ring .The big problem is removeing rear pinion bearing i cut them out they dont make a puller for it!!! Sometimes id have to put alittle heat to the houseing to remove retainer nut.
