atv theft

summer/spring is coming and im gonna have to leave it outside under the patio. what is a good way to lock it from going anyways? is there a boot for the tires? maybe a indestructable lock/chain ? any ideas.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm gonna get a bike soon and figured I'd weld some kind of metal pipe into a U and run a chain through it. The U would go through the frame and then into the house or utility shed. the chain would go through the U and would be locked inside the shed or utility room. So the theives wouldn't have access to the chain to cut. They'd have to cut either the Frame apart or cut through a Big *** steel pipe AND a Chain.

Check out Kryptonite's web site...they have an anchor lock for locking the bike to the cement or whatever is handy.

This might sound like a pain in the butt and probably is , but I have heard of taking one front wheel and a back wheel (opposite each other) off. makes if darn hard to wheel off & away.

EASYMAC-- Go to any Harley-Davidson dealer or independent H.D. repair/parts shop and ask them what you need. They can fix you up with anti-theft chains/cables, etc. Good luck!
