honda 400 shifting problem help

i have a 2004 honda rancher 400 AT it is showing a 16 code and no power to the electric shift motor. but the motor works, so what can my problem be and what is the code?

The TRX400FG/FA will store 2 codes ... But the codes only go up to 13 ..

the dash will flash 1 time then pause then flash 6 times
