So I have been wanting to purchase some nerf bars for my 01 400ex. I was just wondering though, are they hard to install? Do I have to drill any holes into my frame to get them in or something. I don't want to end up buying something for the quad and spend 8-10 hours on something that should take no more than an hour.

 

i just put rock nerfs fat pegs and heel guards on my 07 400ex and it wasnt bad.you dont have to drill any holes.i would defenitly get at least heel guard nerfs much better protection than the flimsy stock plastic ones.

 

Installation is usually quick and easy, and they bolt right up!
