Not sure which would win. Lakota has a semi-automatic clutch. You just foot shift. We never were able to find enough space to top it out here in New England where there aren't many wide open stretches. We did get it up to 57 before running out of room on a frozen beaver pond. It felt like it had some room left. It moved my 300 lbs. around well.

The Lakota is a bit more user friendly and has a much easier to use reverse, but comparing power, topspeed, weight, agility, etc,etc.... the 300EX wins hands down.
I will say however, that the top speeds are not THAT far off. Gearing changes to the Lakota even with no other mods would likely put it right there with the 300EX.
