TRX 250 Questions...Honda newbie
We just bought our daughter a 2006 TRX 250 EX and I had a few questions. It's a great little bike but seems like it's a bit groggy on the low end. Sometimes when you throttle hard from a stop it will stumble a bit or even die. Also trying to ride a slow wheelie is out because the bike stumbles when it stands on end....Any ideas?

Assuming everything else is in order, like the air filter is clean, it has fresh gas, a fresh spark plug, and the valves were adjusted recently, I would suspect a gummer up pilot (slow/idle) jet from some stale gas. Jets are cheap, just replace it....
Best way to get some low end power on this thing, is to get rid of the lame stock tires and replace them with some 20" rears. I like ITP Holeshot XC's.
