Electric start problem
The electric start doesn't seem to be working on my recon. It was running after changing the oil today and then it just cut off. Now when I push the button it just clicks. The battery is fairly new and I hooked it up to the charger and it is showing full charge. I made sure the terminal bolts were tight also. So I used the pull start and it started up and ran fine, rode it around for a few minutes. Could it be the selenoid or something else? Another thing, the lights come on and the winch works when the machine is off and I just turn the key on so the battery has juice. Bad connectioin somewher maybe?

Did you check the connections on the solenoid too?
Even though you state that the battery shows full charge on the charger, it won't give an indication of voltage when the starter button is pressed.
It could show above 12 volts with no load across the battery terminals but drop to 9 or below if there is a bad cell(s) in the battery.
How old is the battery and what type is it? Is it a sealed battery or one you buy and have to add the acid and then charge?

Okay...rereading your post I see where it just cut off..
Start from the battery connections and go from there....checking each connection in the starting circuit from the battery, to the solenoid, to the starter motor itself.
Have you tried jumper cables? Connect to a good vehicle battery but make sure the engine is not running in that vehicle. This will eliminate the battery from being the culprit.
