I have a 02 forman rubicon that the shift display blinks all the time and won't shift out of low gear.can anyone help me?

 

unplug speedo behind radiator bothe wires and see if it will go into second if it does rplace speedo if not on left side of engine remove cover and there is a sensor unplug and clean connection if no good change that sensor

with out speedo it should up shift but you will have to stop and restart to down shift

 

You have to count the flashes ..

Without speed sensor the ECM will go into failsafe mode giving you 1 low gear to safely drive back to your vehicle or home ..

 

It flashes all the time everything on the left side dones not show what gear you are in
