my honda jumps out of gear; mainly in 4th and 5th, but sometimes in lower gears while climbing slopes. is this a clutch adjustment problem, bent shift rod or bent shifter shaft? it's rideable this way, just annoying because i have to keep shifting it back into gear when it jumps out!

Jumps out of gear...does that mean into neutral, or into another gear or what???? Might be that the clutch is just slipping or worn out, and what feels like jumping out of gear is just a bad clutch.

It's easly to adjust the clutch, so do that first by all means. The procedure is in your owner's manual.
