Awhile back I was having trouble with the idle on my 84 200s. Figured it was a carb prob. Cleaned the carb, then it wouldn't start. I took it to a local place to have them check it out. Over a month later, they still hadn't checked it out, so I picked it up. Found a new carb for $30.00 so I installed it. Still won't start. It has a weak spark. What can I do to fix the spark prob. When I get that taken care of, I can find what the next prob will be.

 

sounds like needs new CDI if the spark is weak

Sorry. Yes it was the CDI. Got it new on ebay for $8.00. And yes, thank you HondaMechanic. The pages on electrical were easy to understand.
