I just redid mine last month, for the pinion gear I found a nut that fit and used a big socket to get it torqued. I think the nut was from a 2" ball or something...
Removing and replacing the bearings are pretty straight forward though the pinion needle bearing can be a pain.
If your worried, I'm sure a local dealer will have the tools to help you out. 10 mins worth of labor to torque everything down for you that requires the special tools.
