Default Breather Tubes

I have a problem with almost all of my breather tubes (to brakes and differential).
  • Is there somewhere that you can buy acceptable tubing from somewhere other than from Honda (like a home improvement store) ?
  • The nipple on the rear brake has broken off where the breather tube attaches. Anybody have a good idea as to what could be used as a nipple to be welded back on?
Thanks

vac/vent tubing is avalable at any autozone or advance auto or any auto supply store.
the broken fitting can be drilled out and another one installed either by press fitting or tapping threads and putting in a new fitting.
Hopes this helps.

Breather tubes on things like differentials is old school.

Find some bellows and use those. That way you will have no contamination from foreign matter and expansion can take place.

An auto supply store would carry vent/vacum tubes that are only 3.5mm?

I just corrected some similar problems with my 02 foreman 450. I used some vacumn line from autozone & also some vent tubing from honda. The lines coming off the front brake wheel cylinders were rerun with the honda vent tubing to keep it the same size for the routing in tight areas......why don't you want to use honda line, it was about 6 bucks for 5 ft I think & the 10 ft I bought at AZ was about 8 I think.....good luck....
