400ex wins four-stroke shootout in ATV Sport

i went to motorama in harrisburgh last weekend there was a race that involved a few 400 ex's,a 300 ex, a warrior and a raptor.guess where the big bad raptor finished, second to last and last was the warrior.yes that's right, it even got beat by a 300 ex!!!dont get me wrong, the raptor is an awesem quad"660 cc's,reverse, only 25 lbs.more than a 400 ex,and it looks mean but it is not for the track without some susp. mods(a little too top heavy)where you can put a bone stock 400 on the track and it can kick some a..!if i am not mistaken in the dirtwheels and 4wheel atv action shootouts the 400 ex did win over the raptor in the handeling department.now you can say the raptor is more powerful, so it is better than the 400 ex but it is also abt. $1500 more than a 400 ex so put $1500 worth of mods into a 400 ex and you have yourself a "raptor killer"!

Putting the 500 Scrambler 2x4 against the other true two wheel drive sports is like putting a rubi against a 500 scrambler 4x4 there different animals. For me the release of the 5002x4 is a big mistake by polaris the weight doesnt justify the quad in 2x but in 4x there the best sport 4x4 out there in my opinion.Im not here to bash quads Iv had lots of honda bikes and would have bought a honda quad if they made a true sport 4x4 with 2x4 switching. The last quad I had before the polaris was a Wolverine it was a great sporter but no 2x4 to4x4 option. When is Honda going to make a true sport 4x4 does anybody know.Id love to hear that somethings on the way .
