Example:My polaris come with 8" wide tires up front on the existing factory 12" rims, most mud tires come in 9" and wider, the strut tower and outer tie rods are very close anyway from the factory, so putting a 9-10" wide tire on the front would involve wheel spacers or a rim with different backspacing,if not I would have some issues with scrubbing the strut and tie rods.Backspacing is the distance from the back edge of the wheel to the wheel mounting surface or where your lug nuts are,I had to get a rim with less backspacing distance than the factory rim, really your pushing the tire outside the fender more to allow additional inside clearance.I had no issues with space for the rear but my Polaris come with 10" diameter rims again another issue, most larger mud or all terrain tires do not have any tires larger than 25-26" in diameter for 10" rims.So I bought a Big wheel kit off Ebay with 12" rims Front and Rear both with proper backspacing for my application. Most big wheel kits you see on online are ready to bolt on including tires, aluminum wheels, lug nuts, center caps and backspacing has been tailored for your specific atv but "always ask to be sure.Your local Honda dealer should sell ITP packages."Here is a link even though it's on trucks it's all the same as far as backspacing. 4x4 Off Road Wheel And Tire Basics - 4Wheel & Off-Road Magazine

I also like the Mudzilla's.

Thanks.
