Default Tire concern

I have 2008 Honda Foreman 4x4 ES i just bought a set of ITP Mudlite XL's the front are 28x10x12 and the back are 28x12x12. i pretty much already know that i am goin to have to buy a lift to fit them. any suggestions on what kind of lift. Also i am concerned that the back tires wont clear the muffler anybody know if they will clear with the lift on there

Do you have them on stock or aftermarket rims?

I suspect wheels with more offset (or spacers) might be the best way to give you more clearance from the muffler.

I think High Lifter also makes a front fender support that replaces the little strut rods with something that gives more room for bigger tires.

I guess then I'd install whatever lift kit you choose, and if there is a clearance issue with the muffler, consider some spacers.

I'm like you in that I don't see the point on buying fancy rims on a machine intended to be dunked in mud and grit, and smacked off rocks...

Mine are stock height.

You might post overe at high lifter. They tend to attract more big tire/lift riders who would have first hand experience.
