chrome wheels on a 250 ex
so I have been looking at some new wheels for my 250 ex and I seen some on rocky mountain atv. They are chrome and I wanted to know if chrome wheels would look funny on my 250ex? also will the chrome wheels get rust spots on them if they are ran in the winter or through the water? thanks.

Chrome? Do you actually mean steel rims with a chrome finish, or did you really mean chrome colored alloy wheels? Steel wheels, chromed or not are ridiculously heavy for a sport quad! Just get some light alloy rims, like ITP T9's.
If you want to widen your quad a little for a nice increase in stability, get some rims that are wider than stock and have a greater offset. Plus, lose those terrible stock rims and put on something that is wider and has a squared profile. We run ITPHoleshot tires on IT T-9 rims, and it makes the quad aprox +3 inches wider.
