Default Bolt pattern for 700XX

Does anyone out there happen to know the lug pattern on a 2008 700XX. I'm looking to buy one soon and I want to buy some different rims. Thanx.

The rear bolt pattern on the back on an XX is the same as the front...144mm.
Which is a big problem because I dont know of but maybe two companies that even offer that size in a rear application. I've seen some 10" conversion rear wheels out there but they made the rear end much wider because it has to have that offset to clear the a-arms.
I know ITP has a wheel or two for the rear of an XX. You will have to just check around for others. It's been several months since I went looking for them so there could be more offerings now.

144? Wow, oddball. I was wanting to go with a 12" rim all the way around. I know the 12's would clear the a-arms and I don't really like the stock rims look. Plus that 11" rear makes it hard to find decent tires for my riding style.

I agree,..it's very oddball. It's almost like their automotive engineers did the back end because I don't think the idea of the wheel size/pattern setup would have flew very well with American Honda despite it being for better handling purposes.
I think the fix to this would be to run wheel adapters/spacers along with an inset wheel to make up the difference. I've seen them to convert a Yamaha 4/156 to the Honda 4/144...so maybe someone out there can design a 4/144 to 4/110. Lot's of 12" sport wheels on the market for that pattern obviously.

Yea I found a few people that make an adapter. The go for about $150 or so a pair. (Ouch) But I think the initial cost doesn't out weigh the benefits of a larger selection of tires and wheels. Plus I would pick up a couple of inches in width. All good.

Sorry that was a month and a half ago. I think I just googled it and started searching. If I happen to remember I'll let you know.
