250 2X4 is real slugish

Default 250 2X4 is real slugish

hey i wasd wondering if someone could help me out my bike is really slugish i have to have the throttle like almost wide open in order for it to take off i dont understand what would be causing this i am a newbie to this bike stuff i mean i know the basics but this is my first bike please someone help me out

i havent got a clue buddy i bought it from said recon i have no papers or so i cant tell

It's a recon. Start with a new spark plug and clean or change the air filter.

i checked the plug its getting all kinds of fire and the airfilter is clean still no diference

there is no brakes on the bike the cable is broke and i cannot move the mechanisim in the back so maybe thats what it is its seized but wouldnt it free up after driving it around like ive been driving it around

Put it up on blocks and have your machine in neutral and try to turn front and back wheels, if they turn easily then that will eliminate that idea. If the brakes are siezed up it should stop as soon as you let off the throttle.
