Hey everyone.. We are getting closer to spring up here so I'm starting to get the wheeler ready for another season.

Since fall of lastyear I've gotten this problem with my kick start on the wheeler. Bacisally the kick start only catches every fourth or fifth stroke. Sometimes it will catch but will 'release' and I slam the kick start down on the foot peg.

I pulled the kick start assembly and the teeth look good on that part, so I'm wondering what you guys think? Is this normal for an old wheeler or maybe I have a another issue within the gear pack..?

On a side note it seems worse when the wheeler is cold, after warmup the kick start catches better.

We have more trouble with the sprag in the centrifugal clutch than the teeth on the kick start ratchet assy ...
