I have a 2000 Recon that we had to take the keyed ignition out of since I lost the key and haven't replaced the cylinder yet. I know if you put the Red and Green wires together, that will allow the quad to be started and ran by pull starting it, but I have a black wire and a black/white stripe wire left. Where do these go? I'd like to be able to use the push button starter but I don't know whether to attach the other 2 wires to positive or negative.

 

buy an ignition with 2 new keys - thirtysome bucks,,and asimple fix
