12 volt accesory install again

i know this has been talked about a few times but still haven't found the answer. how can i use the unused electrical wire under right front fender on 2007 trx 420fm. i have done a few searches on auxilliary power installation and most people just say to wire directly to battery with in line 20 amp fuse. i am able to accomplish this but wondering if i could somehow hook into the wire under the front fender? not even sure if it is what the factory uses when installing power supply. do you just cut off the plug that is on the end or is there a matching plug i can buy and use? what type of plug is it? any help on this matter is appreciated.

thanks for the information. i will look into getting it from honda. i was trying to save a few bucks by buying aftermarket socket and install wiring myself. basically wanted to know the type of connector used or if i can splice into that wire? what is + and -?

they want too much for it at honda here (@70$). i want to wire myself. would love to wire into a connector and just plug it in. looking for the type of connector to buy. if anyone has bought it i would love to know the name of it or where it was bought. might also look into splicing into that connection. anybody know which is + and -. does it matter? if not i guess i will just wire to battery with inline fuse... any suggestions or help is appreciatted..thanks

This connector works for many ATV's to plug in whatever you want.
Just cut it in half and you have 2 pigtails.
Available at parts house or truckstops
Grote Industries: Trailer Connectors (Product #82-1034)
