Default 12 volt accesory install again

i know this has been talked about a few times but still haven't found the answer. how can i use the unused electrical wire under right front fender on 2007 trx 420fm. i have done a few searches on auxilliary power installation and most people just say to wire directly to battery with in line 20 amp fuse. i am able to accomplish this but wondering if i could somehow hook into the wire under the front fender? not even sure if it is what the factory uses when installing power supply. do you just cut off the plug that is on the end or is there a matching plug i can buy and use? what type of plug is it? any help on this matter is appreciated.

Yes, you can use the wire under the right front fender. If you buy the 12v outlet from Honda it is plug and play. There is a plastic dud plugged into the connector. It is a pain to remove.

This connector works for many ATV's to plug in whatever you want.
Just cut it in half and you have 2 pigtails.
Available at parts house or truckstops

Grote Industries: Trailer Connectors (Product #82-1034)
